The one who makes an effort wins, the one who doesn't make an effort regrets it.

Entrepreneurship is a thousands of years old concept that started with the life of human beings. Although it has become fashionable in our country in recent years, the history of entrepreneurship is as old as the age of humanity.

In simple terms, entrepreneurship is taking the risk. To make a breakthrough, to offer commercial or sociological innovation, is to create innovation.

Although commercial concern has become a risky phenomenon, entrepreneurship has always been important. The first man's invention of fire is also entrepreneurship, the first settled order.

The Great Leader Atatürk showed the sociological dimension of entrepreneurship to the whole world by establishing the Republic of Turkey, one of the greatest initiatives.

Likewise, in the first years of our Republic, Eskişehir was one of the most entrepreneurial cities.

Especially in aviation, Vecihi Hürkuş started to build the first Turkish planes here. The airlift base was also established from that period. Eskişehir may have missed a great opportunity after that period and could not be the point it should have been. Eskişehir, which has been on the rise with companies such as TEİ Tusas, Arçelik, Sarar and Eti in the last twenty years, is one of the most suitable cities for entrepreneurship with its many students and young people.

Although everyone thinks of the internet and computing sector when they say entrepreneurship today, it should not be forgotten that industry is the backbone of a heavy industry country. Therefore, entrepreneurship is very important in the field of industry.

Just like Nuri Demirağ, just like Vehbi Koç. These two great people are the best examples of entrepreneurship. While one was very successful, the other was unfortunately not.

At this point, the important thing in entrepreneurship is to take risks and make breakthroughs. Entrepreneurship can be divided into full and half.

When you say full entrepreneurship, like Nuri Demirağ, you take the risk completely and start working. The result can be good or bad.

Another real entrepreneur is my late father Osman Albayrak. By stepping into industrialism, he showed his own mastery and personality, and if there is one today, we have a success, he built it all.

Half-entrepreneurship is the example of Vehbi Koç. He is also an entrepreneur, he opened new business areas, but he did this with a partner and a foreign partner. Fortunately, he did so. When we look at it today, it has become the pride of all of us that he established the largest industrial group in Turkey.

More initiatives would suit our Eskişehir, which has Turkey's largest industrial zone. We must work hard for more innovative technologies, successive projects and successful results.

We should not always strive to “do what no one else is doing”. Sometimes you can be an entrepreneur by doing what everyone else does, you can make a difference, produce high quality, cost-effectively, and make your venture successful.

The important thing is not to produce Apple in the garage, but to know that even a bagel maker is an entrepreneur when first entering that business. It is taking the risk and making a breakthrough. Results can be obtained in the short term, medium term or long term. If you calculate this and become an entrepreneur, you will definitely win.

It should be noted that there is no school or course to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is to set out by calculating the voice that comes from within yourself.
